Antique Wristwatch Brands

Found an old wristwatch, how do I know its true value? I am skeptical of pawnbrokers Antique.?
Hi all, I moving antique furniture and put to work in the new. This includes desks, filing cabinets, etc. I found this very wristwatch former in a drawer of his automatic watch with leather straps and in fairly good condition. Its a brand Wittnauer it looks like a model from its perhaps the early sixties. How do I get its estimated fair value? I am a bit skeptical with pawnbrokers and antique shops which dispaly a sign that we buy and that. For fear of being "low balled" plus I'm not familiar with antiques. Is there a website to search for and identify value Ball Park? Sorry if I had to put this topic here, I do not know where else to go.
A book or a website does not give you a exact value, because they can not measure the condition of your room. Search for homes sales in your local area. They generally offer assessments professional. In addition, you can try contacting your insurance agent to ask if they have property appraisers of antiques they recommend. It is not uncommon for someone to get an appraisal on an antique for insurance purposes.
