What is the best way to sell items for money and jewelry?

I inherited many things that I do not want and I I wonder what is the best way to sell them. I'm in Sydney. I have two silver tea-sets (cream, sugar, tea, coffee), many assorted silverware but some damage and not a complete set, silver napkin rings, cups and silver goblets, silver shakers and ashtrays, a gold cigarette case (little crushed), pocket watch, ladies gold inlaid with precious stones, silver and diamonds Cross pendant, two gold brooches and precious stones. I tried the auction houses for jewelry, but they are not big / enough value for them and can not find something useful on eBay. Any advice on dealers' websites or use would be very appreciated.

Ebay ends up costing you at both ends .. to write the article .. then a percentage after it sells .. go to craigslist.org .. open a free account .. then select your country .. then your state or Commonwealth. . and after all it is totally free!
