I have a gold pocket watch search did not cover the Roman numeral is a cardinal Swiss 17 jewels, it is real?

My father left me a gold-colored pocket watch made by the Cardinal, he is mad and Swiss 17 jewels. It has a small face, more Women like a watch with hour and minute in black, each with a small circle halfway. It has about Roman numerals, in the case. the back is a pattern of flowers round engraved in the metal. Any help out there??

Just describing it is not enough. Jeweller willhave to open and check OU Manufacturer IDs and see what kind of jewelry is used and to verify the metal.
