Alice in Wonderland costume ideas!?

My and some of my friends do an Alice in Wonderland theme of Halloween. Im White Rabbit, im not wearing a mascot kind of thing, I want something that is rather cute. I do not like buying a suit that I wear maybe something like a white shirt and a jacket with a bow tie, ears and a tail, but I do not know! please help! ideas????
