Pocket Watch Case Hallmarks

Research shows Pocket Hallmark old?
There is a lion, an anchor and a "k" in lower case letters with JR in an oval. It also issues 57830 printed on it. Can anyone help date this piece??
Without seeing, you have the lion passant, the anchor is Birmingham, lowercase "k" (nature, not in Old English, see example below) in a shield dates 1808, or in a square, 1909 and can not be determined by "eye" and confirmed the dates of the machine. http://www.925-1000. com / dlBirmingham.html There are a number of ads for 'JR' so here's the link to identify it as the form and presentation initials are also significant that the letters themselves. From your description it sounds like John Round & Son, but according to the list of his work was Sheffield. So look through makers' marks and perhaps from from there you can find a similar piece as you do not mention the watchmaker. I hope this helps and good luck! http://www.silvercollection.it/englishsilvermarksXJTRE.html
