What is the best iPod for me?

Ive had my trusty 30GB iPod for 3 years from today and its just broke. Now I need to get a new iPod and im pretty stuck. Ive been using my nano and dads often find myself in his search my pockets and bags. I watch videos and TV episodes on my ipod and have a huge music collection of about 3000 (from 3 years old) songs that keeps growing. My old iPod was very robust and literally held my hand in the fire, was abandoned by her windows, stairs and the car doors. Im stuck between the new classical and new nano. Which would fill my needs with style and always pleasant? I like the colors of the new nanos but practice classics! Help meeee! Thank you youuu xxx
