What is the name of the TV series?

I'm dying to know the name of a TV series where a young man and a low of travel time child. They had, if I remember correctly, a gadget similar to a gold pocket watch. Help me!

It was called Voyagers! (With the exclamation point and all) I think it just released on DVD. The child is on the show Punky Brewster is half of real-life brother, elsewhere.
