I need help with a movie but I dont no the name of it?

All I remember is it has 1 black kid and a white kid and the white kid runs away from home and he goes looking for his dad which brings him to having to pawn his dads pocket watch but they eventually break into pawn shop with fake guns and get the watch back and for some reason the blues brothers has something to do with it not that they are in it but who knows lol. movie prob made in 80′s maybe 90′s,
