Pocket Watch Hubert

What to engrave on a wedding gift for groomsmen / bride 's father?
I'm getting married in few weeks here, and the gifts I ordered for my best man, father and father-in-law has finally arrived. I bought 4 superb silver pocket watches Charles Hubert. I want them to burn, but I'm not sure what would be a good idea for burning. My girlfriend killed my idea initial was to record the names of each of the three other men (I bought a watch 4th myself as a whole) and date … as if to commemorate, I (we) got this watch along with three other important guys in my wedding. Thus, each watch has a unique set of three names, the name will be missing this on each of the three other hits … see? Lol … I thought it was a good idea. But since my fiancee poo'd-poo this idea, I'm Search for more … or validation that perhaps my idea was a good idea, and she just missed the point. What you say?
If it is a gift for them, then customize it or them. Do not put your name or the date on this subject, which is the type of things that your guests will buy because customization is to you … Get what I mean? Buy the watch and put their name on it or sentence they are famous for saying. Something that has to do with them and them alone
