Alternative to a class ring?

My son does not want a class ring because he said it is a waste of money for something he will not. I know my son well enough to know that he absolutely refuses to wear even if I do get it. We talked about alternatives, like a watch, coins, pocket chain and other ideas. He does not want jewelry. Anyone have an idea for another solution?

A car?? Joking aside. How to make a nice camera? It can take pictures to remember her years high school, rather than a symbol of those years.
