Pocket Watch Mechanism

Pocket watch winding help?
I recently acquired a beautiful pocket watch, but have no idea how wind. I can see all the mechanism inside it, and I guess it's the tight spiral of metal that keeps them alive. When I wind the watch, the spiral tightens and losers. When fully wound the spiral should be very loose or tight? I experience, but I fear break. Thank you in advance:]
When not the wound, it should be loose and easy to move. DO NOT OVER WIND. Wind by pinched between finger and thumb. Turn right (when you look at the winding mechanism on top). When you start to feel tension, stop the wind! Do not wrap more than once a day. Most can go two or three days without winding. I begin by not-enough liquidation. You can not hurt as it. Look at the time about 3 hours later. If it is not required right time, you need a little more wind. Do this for several days, to get a good idea of how much to liquidation. # Good Luck.
