Do sugar gliders get along with dogs?
I had my two sugar gliders for about a year and I also poodle year three and he always looks in the cage and when I play with them I used to stay in my room or keep them in my pocket. My sugar gliders my dog and see each other all the time inside their cages and they get their faces close and watch each other as they are curious, but every time I go out of their pocket and my dog sniffed their pocket, they freak out and yell like. So there is a way I could go on the introduction Them slowly or something or if I just keep them away from each other? My dog is one that seems a bit afraid of them and it is really sweet tempered and would not evil soul, but its my blood sugar gliders like to freak out and I know they can be said that if they wanted to be. My dog wants to be friends with them that is why I wondered. I just tried something nervous
I'm sorry, but I would not put them together. No matter how tame your dog is afraid of how you think he is, he still has instincts and if one of your gliders should happen to get angry or frighten him, he might try to defend themselves. I lost one of my gliders to my dog. I thought she was sweet and would never do them evil, but one day they have upset him and it biting. Also consider this, Dogs PIN frendly mean the death of a sugar glider. I do not know, I do not would take no risk. PS If your gliders are crab to your dog when they could affect your dog's teeth are sharp, and it would rerally stress.
