Who else thinks that American Idol is turning into a scam money from the Charity of yesterday?

I was watching yesterday, but my thought was??? What's this? Why are they broadcasting on starving Africans. If I wanted to see it there bunch of religious channels that are already doing. I feel that the AI uses the ratings to garner money from viewers. It is a cheap tactic and I feel resentful towards them. What does AI have do with the gala screening of charity? Somebody put a lot of money in their pockets and not children. I guarantee you. I always thank you goodness capture the show so I can skip commercials, but now I will probably watch this crap again. Let's all boycott the show to try this low blow on viewers! For Stephen K: Exactly!

My thoughts exactly. They use their ratings and rake in celebrities species of the large number of viewers around the world.There any way in hell that the 3 minllion was offered to children.
