Pocket Watch Tattoo Meaning

I am seriously thinking about getting a tattoo forearm. This will be my first.?

I'll have something for my family on the underside of my arm. My grandparents were practically my second set of parents, I get a Pocketwatch (grandfather has always had one) and my mother and grandmothers favorite flower which is a rose. Typical, but it makes sense. The roses will be wrapped around the pocket watch (hands will be the time of my birth). chain to the pocket watch hanging himself my arm a little money with my grandfathers cuff link at the end. First person, I'm not nervous or anything, I just wanted to comment on what you think of the idea.
