My rat thinks a toy lion is real?
I have two pet rats and I gave them this little stuffed animal. Its a little (and I mean little…like an inch or two tall) lion toy that I got in the stocking stuffer section at target. It’s probably meant for a little girl to tote around in her pocket or something. Well I gave it to my rats and one of them absolutly loves it. She drags it everywhere with her. And is always nibbling it and pawing at it and stuff. Is there any possibility that she thinks it is a fellow rat? I mean it’s a toy but it has a little embroidered face. If not, then why on earth does she like it so much?
It’s very cute to watch her interact with the toy and I wouldn’t dream of taking it away from her but I’m just curious. Also, my other rat sometimes paws at it but other than that she pretty mch has no interest in it.
