Who are you going to vote in the general election?

Im 18 and a first time voter and registered to vote in May I watched the political pocket following site: www.pocketpolitics.co.uk / compare / start.html but it made my decision to vote more delicate! I watched the debate live last week and I was pleasantly surprised by Nick Clegg, but apparently the lib dem vote is a wasted vote because it is very unlikely to NC to become Prime Minister. I really can not stand David Cameron, but I also believe that we must change Gordon Brown, but agree with many policies of the Labour Party. Who are you voting for and why?

Conservative. They have always provided the best governments in the recent decades and they understand economics better than the other two. The problem with politics today is that people end up voting for that looks good on TV and do not look at actual policies, which after all is what counts. A Liberal Democrat vote is a vote for unquestioning acceptance of everything that comes out of Brussels, including probably enter the euro. In 1990, we joined the ERM – that our fixed currency exchange rates for all other countries in the mechanism and is a shadow version of being in the euro area, and we had come out two years later. When your economy is "running at a speed different" from the rest of countries that use the same currency, the result is disaster – which happened in 1992 (google "Black Wednesday" to know about it), which has just arrived in Greece. Of course, Nick Clegg is silent on this. It would also mean that our government is less and less relevant as we hand over more power to Europe.
