What exactly is scratch resistant mineral glass shows the?

Because I have this http://www.casio.com/products/archive/Ti watch … aaaaaand if is with regular mineral glass I hit it real hard in some areas, like 6 times aaaaand not zero all? How is this possible? I usually know that the mineral glass is not resistant to scratches?!?! OR IS IT?!?! Because now I bought a new watch and new aaand with mineral glass and I'm a little angry because I did not get one with a resistant sapphire crystal scratch that is … my question, but however if the mineral glass is scratch resistant to a degree what?

From what I remember Well, mineral glass is essentially glass that has been reinforced by the introduction of other minerals in it more difficult. If you watch glass standard under a microscope, it is actually full of "holes" that make the glass much more sensitive to surface damage. Minerals introduces not only fulfill these holes, but also act as an intermediate holding clumps of molecules of glass together for what you get is a smoother surface, which is less likely to be scratched. As a result, they are much harder than standard glass, and are almost as resistant to scratches than variants much more expensive sapphire. sapphire is essentially a sapphire crystal, whose molecules are much better prepared than from any glass, making them far superior in terms of scratch resistance. De However, the experience, my phone (Nokia 8800), has a mineral glass face and showed some scratches after some moderate use. My watch (a TAG Heuer), with a sapphire glass facade, is almost without fault, although it is exposed to much more than my phone has never been subjected and the fact that I had the watch Many years of my phone. If you ask me to give you my point of view, I would say that a steel needle point led with great force on a glass surface mineral probably zero or smart, but at the height of a sapphire, the use of some diamonds probably dispensable do the trick.
