Why on Earth do we still continue to fiddle with all the clocks ?

Hi
I know the origons of the GMT / BST changes, but do we still need it ?
It is a bit miserable to be still working in an office as it gets dark, but it will not kill you to put up with it.

Everything goes out of kilter twice a year
Folks, work, TV etc.etc.

I have, having just totted it up, had to alter 19 clocks
That is the wristwatches, the cooker, wall clocks, the cars, the CH timer, and on and on.

I will have to reverse the procedure in about 25 weeks.

Why don’t we stick to GMT, and avoid the nonesense of adjusting millions of time-peices twice a year ?

Any notions ?

its left over from the first world war when we needed extra hours of daylight for war production ,i really think they could ditch it now though!
