Where can I find a watch that allows you to see the gears turning inside?
I am looking for a wrist watch (wristwatch) that allows you to see the gears and inner (inside) workings while wearing the watch in a normal fashion. Does anyone know who makes one? Or where I can find one?
I don’t want to have to take the watch apart or open it up or anything like that. I want to be able to see the gears turning while wearing the watch normally. Thanks!
There are a few brands that open the face of a mechanical watch so you can see inside. The ones I know of are:
(least expensive -> most expensive)
– Baume Mercier
– La Swiss Tourbillon Series
– Zenith ‘open’ (either Port Royal or Grand Class)
– Chronoswiss
Also, any Skeleton watch will have visible internal components. Skeleton models are usually limited edition or custom made.
You will have to find a dealer in your area for these brands. Each of their websites should give you a local location.
