Wristwatch green. WHY

I took my wristwatch to take a shower, and looked and saw my wrist where the watch was sitting was green. why did this happen and how can I make sure it does not recur. also, is it dangerous, as in unhealthy?

unless the watch is cheap and could have as lead paint or something else (probably not) it is not unhealthy. but it is a chemical reaction between moisture from your skin and the material (metal, I suppose) of the watch. to avoid in the future, you can use clear nail polish to make a coating on the bottom where it touches the skin (people swore by this). you must reapply often, but work. or you can remove it before you do any kind of intense activity where you might sweat or come into contact with water (as withdraw before the shower). You can also pause between the wear .. So do not wear as often. to get the green skin of your use toothpaste. Hope this helps:)
