What are the smaller and larger bracelets?

I Fortis pilot's wristwatch is a 40 mm wide. Lately watchmakers have is more than most models, so I could buy many models wider than my Fortis. Who wears these large models? I weigh 285 pounds. with 8 "wrists. 40 mm is enough for me. Smaller models are for the ladies. My Fortis is too much for my £ 97. lover. She could barely raise their hands if it tried wear.
