Wristwatch Latest

I have an old Sandoz wristwatch which was my late grandfathers, how can I find out more about it?
I found the watch in my attic after a clearout and know nothing about it. It has the Sandoz mark on the back and underneath it says SANDOZ OF SWITZERLAND INCABLOC and it has the serial number 10412-0-66. The face is quite plain, light brown and has a seperate hour hand in a smaller dial towards the bottom of the face. I have looked everywhere on the internet but do not seem to be able locate any way of finding out any info regarding the watch. It would be nice to know how old it is and if it is worth anything. I quite like it so if it is not worth anything I can get it repaired and start wearing it. Any ideas?
There are reference books about vintage watches, and I belong to some Yahoo Groups about watches. You might check them to see if anyone knows more about this brand. If I recall correctly, Sandoz is still in business but doesn’t produce any watches with that name on the dial. Sandoz acquired 51% of Parmigiani Fleurier watchmakers a few years ago. Michel Parmigiani began this company, and he makes very expensive watches. A gold minute repeater with tourbillon costs $538,000 now. I’m sure your watch is worth something but maybe not as much as you hope. I’ll ask some friends who know much about watches. You could go to Yahoo Groups and look for wristwatch or watch groups. Someone in the groups might be able to tell you more. I only use the computer once or twice a week, but I’ll tell some contacts who might be able to help you more.
