Problem with my laptop, what should I do to avoid next time?

Well, my laptop is out and it does not turn back. Well it begins to turn on the hits but again. It is repairable, I know, because it's already done. The thing is, before was released, it was a subtle delay noise, like a wristwatch or something. It is a Toshiba Satellite. Is there anything I can do to avoid next time?

Maybe the CPU is too hot and the laptop shuts off by itself … try cooling laptop … the proper place in the CPU fan …
