How do I get rid of the smell on my wristwatch band?

My wristwatch band smells- yuck! Also what can I do to prevent it from being so smelly

Do you have a synthetic band, like nylon? If so, then the smell is from accumulated sweat, dirt, and dead skin cells. Detach the band and throw it in the wash. I had the same problem, and that worked for me. Then febreze it regularly!

I imagine that a cloth band would have the same problem. If your band is animal hide, talk to a cleaner who specializes in leather.

If all else fails new bands are pretty cheap.
