What was the most common type of wristwatch distributed to American soldiers in World War 2?

The best of my knowledge, wristwatches were not routinely issued to soldier through. However, personnel such as pilots, navigators, bombers, etc. necessary time-specific and occasionally, a pocket watch was provided.
