Why the civil war have such a hold on people? Why not the Second World War, the war Goo, or the revolutionary war?
I say, it was what, 140 years? Time to move on? I suppose everyone needs a hobby. Once I saw reinactors exercising in a park and I asked them if I could take a picture. They said sure and went around to remove their bracelets and get rid of cans of Pepsi. Well the only reason I wanted the photo was for items acronistic, it was not funny without it. But I do not want to hurt them (they were so serious) so I took pictures anyway. Help me understand what the case is. And where were all the fans of the civil war when you have asked about the movie Confederate States of America?
It has to do with access to battlefields, really. Civil War produces 100 times the number of victims of any war that took place in North America. There are battlefields in the south. Many Americans have ancestors who fought in the Civil War, while relatively few have ancestors who fought in the war of independence. Europe has ren-actors who battles from Roman times all the way until the Second World War. I'm sure the Americans would be more interested in the Second War World if they could get children in the SUV and reduce the battlefield where grandfather fought the Nazis.
